Caravan, Camping and Holiday Parks

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.

During the mid 1800’s
The Blacksnake District was named with the intension
to scare off potential new miners. Mined for gold, copper and silver
at the turn of the 19th century, During the late 1800’s,
Blacksnake township was a fair sized community. In it’s heyday it sported a hotel, blacksmith, sawmill, school and even a racetrack. The “Old Victoria” mine shaft still exists on the Mt Nukka property. (Cannot go down due to safety reasons). The owners of the property (Cyndi and Peter) bought in 1986 and have built their home from the local stone and timber. Cyndi and Peter are both current Blue Card Holders.
