Southport Yacht Club’s Oxenford Watersports Centre is a lakeside sailing and watersports venue located at the picturesque Damian Leeding Memorial Park. The Centre provides safe, accessible and family-friendly experiences for visitors of all ages. Set on a calm freshwater lake, the facility offers sailing sessions, school holiday programs, learn to sail courses, stand up paddle boarding and recreational lake activities supervised by qualified instructors.

The Oxenford Watersports Centre is the training base for the Southport Yacht Club’s sailing academy and welcomes beginners through to developing young sailors. Programs are designed to introduce visitors to sailing in a supportive environment with modern equipment and a focus on fun and confidence on the water.

The venue features shaded areas, easy waterfront access, picnic spaces and views across the lake, making it an ideal location for families, groups and those seeking an outdoor activity close to the Gold Coast’s northern corridor.
