Wivenhoe Outlook is in the South D’Aguilar section of the stunning D’Aguilar National Park, in the heights of Mount Glorious, about 50 kilometres from Brisbane’s city centre. Walk only 100 metres from the car park and find a large viewing platform overlooking breathtaking panoramic vistas of Northbrook Valley’s green ridges and the waters of Lake Wivenhoe.

Although there are no amenities or picnic ,areas here you only need to travel minutes down Mount Glo,rious Road the road to a number of sheltered picnic tables, amenities, BBQs and wide open spaces.

Access roads are sealed and suitable for conventional (2WD) vehicles. From the Brisbane suburb of The Gap, take Mount Nebo Road (tourist route number 8) before continuing north-west along Mount Nebo Road for another 38km to the Wivenhoe outlook car park.

Alternatively, drive 28 kilometres from Samford via Mount Glorious Road to the Wivenhoe outlook car park.
