Dohles Rocks

The quiet riverbank of Dohles Rocks in Griffin is an important habitat for shorebirds and a relaxing place for locals of Moreton Bay region’s nearby built-up areas to escape and kick back.

You will find plenty of curb-side parking (as well as trailer parking bays) to leave your vehicle while you stretch your legs, go fishing, enjoy a family picnic, or barbecue overlooking the river. Though the area isn’t suited to large get-togethers, it is a perfect spot to get lost in a good novel, enjoy an afternoon play with the little ones, or launch into North Pine River.
