Pioneer Park Museum

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Step back in time at one of Queensland’s largest collections of agricultural machinery and most fascinating open-air museums. Located on Black Street, just off the Warrego Highway, Pioneer Park Museum showcases an impressive array of vintage machinery, colonial buildings, and historical artifacts.

Wander through authentic structures including an old schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, jail, and hospital, and explore working tractors, fire engines, and rare agricultural equipment. Highlights include a Chandler Hearse (one of only two in the world), Aboriginal artifacts, and a military memorabilia display. Also on display is a copy of the letter Ned Kelly wrote to authorities asking if his mother could visit him in prison.

Friendly volunteers and guided tours make it a welcoming stop for history lovers, families, and caravanners alike.
