Gleesons Landing Campground

Located approximately 41km from Warooka, Gleesons Landing Bush Campground is accessed via White Hut Road and Gleesons Road. Please note that Gleesons Road is unsealed and can become corrugated, especially in dry conditions.

The campground features a network of winding tracks that open up into a variety of smaller campsites—many with ocean views or just a short stroll from the water. If you’re towing a larger rig, it’s a good idea to explore on foot first before committing to any particular track, especially during busy periods when space can be limited.

Bin banks are available on site, though they may fill quickly during peak times. Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them or use bin banks located in Warooka, Minlaton, or Yorketown.

Several toilets are provided throughout the campground, but self-sufficient camping is still recommended. For fuel, supplies, or a stop at the tavern, Marion Bay is the nearest town. Alternatively, Warooka—on your way in or out—offers a wide range of facilities including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, hotel, petrol station, Visitor Information Outlet, and more.
