Nestled 13 km south of Warooka (with 11 km of unsealed road along Sturt Bay Road), Sturt Bay Bush Campground offers a peaceful, off-the-grid escape. The spacious sites are perfect for tents and smaller setups, though the tight turning area may not suit larger caravans. Sites are unallocated—first-come, first-served.
Just over the dunes, Sturt Bay awaits—a stunning stretch of coastline ideal for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, or a leisurely beach walk. The mostly sandy shore is complemented by a nearby reef, with occasional seaweed adding to its natural charm.
A basic toilet is available, but self-sufficient camping is encouraged. The nearest bin bank is at Warooka town oval. Warooka also offers essential services, including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, pub, petrol station, and Visitor Information Outlet.
