Located on the southern coastline of Yorke Peninsula, just 12 minutes’ drive from Port Moorowie, Sturt Bay Retreat is a spacious two-storey, carbon neutral holiday house set on 42 hectares of natural scrubland.
The retreat features four bedrooms comprising two queen bedrooms and two twin single rooms, comfortably sleeping up to eight guests. Quilts and pillows are provided; guests are required to bring their own linen.
The upstairs open plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge space with reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning and a combustion heater (guests to supply their own firewood).
Large windows and direct access to the balcony offer panoramic views across the surrounding landscape and Sturt Bay coastline. Complimentary WiFi and a large wall-mounted television are provided.
Downstairs offers an additional lounge room with air-conditioning, television, BluRay player, games and books, along with a kitchenette and laundry facilities. Bathrooms are located on both levels, with an ensuite to the upstairs master bedroom.
Sturt Bay Retreat includes a key-operated chair lift, providing access to the upper level for guests with mobility needs (prior arrangement required).
Guests can enjoy walking trails across the property, easy access to the Walk The Yorke trail, and Sturt Bay beach just a short walk or drive away.
