Barossa Heritage Drive

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

Starting in Tanunda, this drive features ten locations showcasing the heritage and varying landscapes across the Barossa region.

The Barossa Heritage Drive is a self-guided trail loop covering over 100 kms. It can take as little as 2.5 hours, or stay for the day and explore the town highlights at your own pace.

Download the drive via the Barossa Heritage Trails App which also features six self-guided walking trails. The interactive app highlights the rich and sometimes little-known heritage stories and experiences of the region through text, photos, video and audio. Explore unique locations, buildings and historic sites, encompassing both First Nations and European settlement.

The project is an initiative of The Barossa Council Public Libraries supported by Barossa Regional Heritage Network, Foundation Barossa and the Peter Lehmann Arts & Education Trust.

Available to download for free on Apple or Android devices.
