The memorial, which is situated within the Mill Corner Historical Park, marks the significant role rail played in the Northern Mallee, particularly for broadacre agriculture. There is a shelter, timeline storyboards, railway lines and phone ‘pill box’ at the site to commemorate both the railway workers and those early settlers who utilised the service.
