Policeman’s Point to the Gardens Walk is a long beach walk in the Bay of Fires, Tasmania.

Explore this 26.2-km out-and-back trail near Ansons Bay, Tasmania. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 6 h 10 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and walking, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring.

The area is known for its white sandy beaches, blue water and granite rocks with a unique orange tinge. This walk is just a section of the long coastal walk through the area. It runs from Policeman’s Point to The Gardens, both have campsites. It can be done as a point-to-point walk if drop and prick off are arranged.

It can be difficult to walk the whole way when the tide is high.
