The Big Penguin on the Penguin foreshore is iconic to the seaside town.
The ferro cement penguin was erected on October 25, 1875, to commemorate the centenary of the proclamation of the town of Penguin.
The penguin which stands 3 metres high is very photogenic with the Bass Strait shimmering behind.
