Kuuma – Nature Sauna

Spas and Retreats

Kuuma Nature Sauna, Australia’s first sauna boat, is located just 20 minutes south of Hobart at Margate Marina.

Offering the ultimate blend of adventure and relaxation, Kuuma invites guests to step aboard and discover the ritual of heat and cold on the calm waters of North West Bay. Each sauna cruise begins with the gentle warmth of a traditional wood-fired sauna before an invigorating plunge into the clear Tasmanian waters, leaving body and mind refreshed.

The floating sauna is thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection. Sessions are limited to eight guests, creating an intimate atmosphere whether joining a communal session or booking all seats privately.

Alongside the sauna, guests can enjoy change facilities, a seating area with fire-pit, a rooftop terrace and music system. For those seeking more time, extended three-hour charters allow space to fully savour the rhythm of soak, steam and swim while taking in uninterrupted views of Tasmania’s wilderness.

Situated at the gateway to the Huon Valley and Bruny Island, Kuuma pairs beautifully with a day of exploring food, wine and wild landscapes. Operating with care for the natural environment and community, Kuuma offers an experience unlike anywhere else.

Those seeking to restore and reconnect are warmly invited to embark on a sauna cruise and discover Kuuma for themselves.
