The Garden of Hope is being developed as a great multifunctional family place on 16 acres of land by the edge of Lake Hawthorn, just 5 minutes from Mildura. This place is for all ages, families and people groups with a playground, games and activities, a 18-hole mini-golf course (cost extra), a kiosk, souvenirs, café, drinks and ice-creams, and is available for various functions including birthdays, weddings, wakes, specialty groups and your special occasion.
The Garden of Hope aims to provide an encouraging place for individuals, families and groups to come, relax, have fun, play games or enjoy a coffee and slice. Wander the beautiful garden and its meandering pathways filled with creative artwork and inspirational quotes on Hope and be encouraged to keep going no matter how tough it gets. The Lake, birds, gardens, flowers, music and quotes make it the perfect place to relax, unwind and be encouraged.
There will be various community events and fun motivational programs held each year.
Entry fees apply in most cases, part of giving hope to struggling individuals and families is to provide a great place that is affordable. For some events like the Easter Egg Hunt the entry fee is slightly more to cover extra costs. Other events there may be no entry fee, for example Carols by Candlelight and Australia Day Brekkie.
