The bucket list Mt Buller 7 Peaks Challenge road climb serves up hairpins, towering trees and a year-round alpine village.

Feel the burn as you conquer the 15 kilometre Mt Buller road climb from Mirimbah to Mt Buller village. Roll past majestic gums and sweeping views before savouring the sharp hairpins in the last 5 kilometre, but don’t peak too early – Hell Corner awaits. Ride past the official finish all the way to The Arlberg for celebration east and drinks.

Start your ride at the Mt Buller sign in Mirimbah Park and climb 921 metre of elevation over 15 kilometre to finish at Mt Buller Village under the Village Square Clocktower. Enjoy an average gradient of 6.2% and a max grade of 13%. Water and toilets are available at the start and finish of the ride. This ride takes you into alpine areas, always be prepared with appropriate clothing layers and check the weather conditions, the Vic Emergency App and VicRoads before setting out.

The Mt Buller road ride is part of the Ride High Country 7 Peaks Challenge – Australia’s ultimate self-paced road cycling adventure. Conquer the epic climbs and thrilling descents of Mt Buffalo, Mt Buller, Dinner Plain, Falls Creek, Mt Hotham, Lake Mountain and Mt Baw Baw. The 7 Peaks Challenge season runs from October to April.
