Mt Buller offers the ideal biking escape, no matter what you are into.

Tackle the 16 kilometre uphill road climb, ride the extensive cross-country trail network, hit the downhill trails or tackle the pump track – all just three hours from Melbourne.

Over 100 kilometres of quality cross-country trails, including 40 kilometres of singletrack. The Australian Alpine Epic. A 50 kilometres all-mountain trail that takes in some of the most spectacular terrain and scenery in the Australian Alps.

A chairlift is set to turn this summer at Mt Buller with confirmation mountain bikers can once again enjoy a lift up on the Northside Express and squeeze more gravity trail laps into their ride days on specific weekends and holiday periods.

Mt Buller’s bike trails are in the best shape they been for several years following a steady program of maintenance and updates in recent seasons supported by Regional Tourism Development funding and work by the resort. Further works on approximately 10 kilometres of new trails improving linkages to the Delatite River Trail are underway with some sections anticipated to be ready as soon as late December 2025.
