A popular leisurely walk suitable for most hikers, the summit of the Bainggug (The Piccaninny) provides excellent views of Mud-dadjug (Mt Abrupt) and the nearby town of Dunkeld with its impressive and unique landscape.

The track begins at the Picaninny carpark along Victoria Valley Road or Grampians Tourist Road. The easy-to-follow path leads through picturesque, lush woodlands, with a gradual incline leading to the summit. Keep your eyes peeled for the many interesting animal and plant species that call this area home and the stunning wildflower displays during Spring.
