Waroona Dam (Lake Navarino) is 10 kilometres east of the township of Waroona. Surrounded by lush jarrah forest with abundant wildlife and beautiful wildflowers in season, it is a popular spot for water-skiing, kayaking, fishing and bushwalking.

Seasonal freshwater fishing is another popular pastime with trout, perch, and marron in abundance (licence required).

Visitors can stay at the nearby Lake Navarino Holiday Park (camping, caravans, cabins, and glamping).

Waroona is just over an hour’s drive south of Perth, forty minutes from Mandurah, and 50 minutes north of Bunbury.
