West Kempsey Aussie Bush Mailboxes

Stroll along Elbow Street and you’ll spot three unusual sculptures on the lawn front of the West Kempsey Post Office. These are the winners of the 2014 Aussie Bush Mailbox competition, a contest run by the Macleay Valley Arts Council to embrace the unique spirit of creativity and resourcefulness in the bush.

Winning artists were Many A Day Behind It” by Danny Roberts (2nd), “Goin’ With The Flow” by Steve King (1st) and “Goanna On A Banksia” by Grahame Bray (3rd).
