This beautiful jacket was made by the Moree Quilters Group. Fourteen ladies contributed to making the jacket.
The Town Criers Jacket shows the different crops that are grown on the beautiful black soil plains, inside the jacket is lined and the goanna can be found inside the jacket. The Jacket also features the Gwydir Wetlands.
The ‘Moree Town Criers Jacket’ can be admired at the Moree Visitor Information Centre.
