Touchdown Helicopters is a small and friendly, scenic helicopter charter business located in the heart of the picturesque Illawarra. Only two hours drive south of Sydney, we are available every day of the week to take you on the adventure of a lifetime.
Whether flying over the gorges, chasms and waterfalls of the Illawarra Ranges, flying low over the sun-kissed beaches of our spectacular coastline or dropping into one of the regions world class vineyards for lunch and a sip of your favourite wine, you will cherish this unique flying experience in the breathtaking helicopter playground of the Illawarra.
Touchdown Helicopters offer scenic flights and aerial safaris for all budgets and for all occasions. Based at the Shellharbour Airport in Albion Park Rail, they are the state’s only helicopter operator south of Sydney.
Services
The Seacliff Bridge Scenic Tours departs from our Wollongong Heliport base several times per day. Flying over the rustic sunburnt beaches of the Illawarra, as the mountains slowly converge on the coastline and at the rocky base of the shear sandstone cliffs lies the Seacliff Bridge. An engineering marvel suspended over the coastline, the Seacliff Bridge is a constant favourite location for movies, tv series and tv adverts making it an internationally recognised icon of the Illawarra.
