Pinky Point Lookout

Landmarks and Buildings

Situated at the Thevenard end of the Encounter Walking Trail, Pinky Point Lookout offers sweeping views across the wharf, nearby islands, the shipping channel and out to Denial Bay—making it a standout spot for sunset.

The lookout is caravan and motorhome friendly, with easy turning and parking, plus a viewing platform complete with interpretive signage and a telescope.

The Eleni K shipwreck is one of the region’s most iconic coastal sights. A salvaged anchor is displayed beside the shelter at the lookout, while the wreck itself lies just offshore—now a striking feature and one of South Australia’s best shipwreck dive sites.

With easy access, it’s the perfect place to stop, take in the views and capture a memorable sunrise or sunset along the coast.
